Optimal resilliance and high functionality is the goal when drafting Radomes to protect against the elements. Radome designs vary depending on the challenges of the Antenna site and atunment to frequencies of interest. We have a standard array to fit our range of Antennas, or our Radomes can be supplied individually. All come with the following features:

We construct three types of Radome [ which are expanded upon below ], The A Sandwich, C Sandwich [ both foam core ] and The Space Frame. All types account for differing thermal and frequency challenges.
The shape is most commonly configured with an icosidodecahedron, pseudo-random panel pattern, which can be tuned for specific frequencies, and helps to prevent coherent scattering.
Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is regularly adopted review the Radome shape and design, develop optimum bolting patterns, simulate the effects of snow loading and to demonstrate the impact of any design developments.
Our designs are drafted, built and tested by our own dedicated team of specialist Engineers at the 100,000+sq.ft. CGC Design facillity in Hampshire.
