No matter the size or configuration of your chosen Antenna, creating optimal efficiency and capability across our entire range is our priority. All are built in-house, pre-engineered and loaded with the following features:
No cone of silence at zenith
Unique Comtech tracking software
X/Y gives full hemispheric coverage
All frequency bands, including Ka, Q & V
Light carbon composite reflectors
X/Y gives the ability to track all spacecraft, particularly LEO and MEO, making it our most popular and reputable reflector mount.
The design consists of two drives, one on-top of the other to create movement across X and Y. This design gives full hemispherical movement, ensuring no breaks in data collection.
It is particularly useful for tracking low Earth orbit constellations due to the dual drive moving simultaneously, allowing smooth, unbroken tracking. This feature also makes it fit for use across higher bands of frequency. This is why we recommend X/Y over traditional AzEl configurations in most cases.
The use of two drives means both motors have approximately double the life-span as opposed to one working alone.
This system can be found throughout our product range as standard.
